    Job description

    Responsibilities:

    You will be responsible for various activities throughout the entire software development lifecycle, including requirements engineering, software and system design, implementation, testing, and documentation. The specific scope of your tasks will depend on the project and your experience and will be discussed individually. You will collaborate in distributed, international teams where English is the primary language of communication.

    Job requirements

    Must-have:

    • Strong experience with Java (17 or newer)

    • Experience with Spring Boot

    • Solid knowledge of Hibernate / JPA

    • Experience working with SQL databases, particularly MySQL

    • Ability to write SQL queries and work with database migration tools (e.g., Flyway)

    • Experience with REST APIs and backend service development

    • Experience with Maven build system

    • Familiarity with Docker and containerized development

    • Experience working in Linux environments

    • Proficiency with modern development tools such as IntelliJ IDEA

    • Experience working with Git and standard development workflows

    Nice-to-have:

    • Experience with Angular

    • Knowledge of TypeScript and JavaScript

    • Experience with Angular Material or other CSS frameworks

    • Experience with Cypress or similar UI testing frameworks

    • Experience with Groovy, particularly for automated testing

    • Familiarity with Flyway database migration tool

    • Experience with SOAP-based integrations

    • Familiarity with IBM Liberty Application Server

    • Experience working with Atlassian tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Bamboo

    • Experience developing applications in Docker-based local environments
